Seize the day!

A few days left till my normal, school life is starting again. To be honest, I don't mind. My holiday has been great and I've enjoyed it a lot, but now I'm happy to go back to school. I crave a routine and a more structured life again! So I'm excited to get my normal life back on track! I feel positive, fully energized and I want to keep it that way. That's why I summed up a few things, how to stay that positive!

Seize the day
Don't spoil a good day by worrying about tomorrow. Enjoy what's around you right now, instead of focussing on the negatives. Let go of your struggles.

Don't worry what anyone else thinks
People will always try to label you, so don’t try to live up to other people’s expectations and instead do what makes you happy and just be yourself.

Step outside your comfort zone
There will be moments where you'll limit yourself. Everyone has boundaries, but try to push them. Opportunities don’t often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them. I believe that pushing yourself and learning new things makes one a happy person. Create new experiences!

Believe in yourself
If you're like me and tend to be too realistic, you'll often crush your own dreams. If you want all the above techniques to work you have to first, believe in yourself. Don't let self-doubt botter you. There's no magical way to suddenly have a lot of confidence and believe in yourself, it has to grow. It's a process, it starts with a having a positive vibe in your life and surrounding yourself with good people.

“I decided, very early on, just to accept life unconditionally; I never expected it to do anything special for me, yet I seemed to accomplish far more than I had ever hoped. Most of the time it just happened to me without my ever seeking it.”
- Audrey Hepburn

Good luck for those who already started school/work, or like me, starting next week!

  1. I miss the days where I can take off for 3 months during the summer and relax. When I started to work, I have too much routine now, and it's really boring.

  2. Such important things to remember! Thank you for sharing :)
